Job Summary
As a Remote Healthcare Billing and Customer Service Representative, you'll work as an extended business office representative on behalf of our clients, providing exceptional customer service and support to patients and their families. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Empathetic communication: Using your excellent listening and verbal and written communication skills to help patients and their families understand complex medical bills and find affordable payment solutions.
- Customer service: Providing outstanding customer service and collaborating with patients over the phone to resolve account balances and answer questions.
- Documentation: Accurately documenting all calls and follow-ups in our software systems throughout each day, using your computer proficiency, organization, and attention to detail.
- Team support: Supporting your fellow team members with consistent attendance, excellent work ethic, and a caring team focus.
- Continuous improvement: Continuously improving your skills and knowledge with supportive coaching, feedback, and ongoing training from your manager and team leads.
Essential Qualifications
* High school diploma or equivalent: Required
- 1-2 years of customer service experience: Preferred
