As a key member of our customer support team, you'll be responsible for providing exceptional support to our clients' customers, resolving issues, and handling complaints in a timely and professional manner. Key Responsibilities
As a Customer Service Representative, you'll be responsible for:
- Providing excellent customer support to customers with a friendly, professional, and welcoming attitude
- Handling inbound calls in a timely manner and managing outbound calls as necessary
- Researching and verifying information provided by customers utilizing online resources
- Following communication scripts provided while handling various technical topics and issues
- Identifying customers' needs, clarifying information, researching issues, and providing solutions to customer inquiries
- Providing customers with product and service information as needed
- Continuously learning and training to maintain and expand your product knowledge and customer service skills
- Updating job and product knowledge by participating in ongoing educational opportunities
Essential Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
- A professional work ethic and strong phone and verbal communication skills
- The ability to multi-task, set priorities, and manage your time effectively
- Active listening skills with the ability to resolve customer issues
- Basic computer skills utilizing Microsoft Windows and browser-based applications
- A minimum typing speed of 25wpm
- The ability to identify and escalate priority issues
- The ability to manage and update customer data by entering and editing customer information
- A quiet work space and high-speed internet
- Bi-lingual skills (Spanish or French) a plus but not required
Preferred Qualifications
While not required, the following qualifications are highly desirable:
- Previous customer service experience in a call center or similar environment
- Experience with CRM software and other customer relationship management tools
- Knowledge of the customer service industry and best practices
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities
