Our Security and Compliance Engineering team is responsible for designing adaptable data management and extraction structures that form the backbone of our ability to meet the most stringent data protection and cleanliness guidelines in the industry. We're now seeking a talented Data Engineer to join our team and help us build robust, flexible, and privacy-driven data structures. As part of this team, you'll work with various data technologies like Flash, Voila, Flink, Kafka, and others to create fast, versatile, and powerful data pipelines; write ETL tasks to collect and aggregate data; and design high-quality data structures that enable proper handling of user personal data.

As a Data Engineer on our Privacy team, you'll be responsible for:- Designing and implementing effective, flexible, and adaptable data pipelines to handle structured and unstructured data
- Developing a deep understanding of the data ecosystem at arenaflex from a privacy perspective
- Collaborating with our security and compliance engineering teams to understand product objectives and provide data that enables us to respond to user and regulatory data requests
- Maintaining and re-evaluating existing datasets and pipelines
- Joining a talented team of data engineers who are dedicated to enhancing our data protection practices and mitigating legal and regulatory risks
What We're Looking For
We're seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual who is passionate about consumer-driven data protection and risk mitigation. The ideal candidate will have:- Proficiency in at least one of Java, Python, or Scala, with a minimum of 2 years of programming or data engineering experience
- Strong knowledge of advanced SQL
- Experience in designing data pipelines using big data technologies (Hive, Voila, Flash, Flink) on medium to large-scale datasets
- Ability to take requirements and deliver flexible data models and pipelines
