arenaflex's MSP Team is at the forefront of driving future innovation across Mechatronics and Packaging, tackling complex challenges in industrial hardware, control machines, robotic cells, autonomous vehicles, sortation, packing technologies, and packaging materials. We foster strategic partnerships with key stakeholders, including Operations, RME, ACES, Supply Chain, Transportation, WW Design, and more, to ensure seamless integration into the arenaflex Fulfillment network.
About the QA Virtual Testing Team
Our QA Virtual Testing team is responsible for developing and executing virtual system test plans (simulations) to validate system-level requirements, meet customer deliverables, and ensure integrated system performance across all sub-components, including hardware automation and controls, software applications, and materials compatibility. This team creates simulation environments to early validate and stress-test end-to-end solutions, guaranteeing new solutions are ready for operation, maintenance, deployment, process, and MHE integration, service, and support.
Key Responsibilities
As a Quality Assurance Engineer - Virtual & Simulation Testing, you will:
- Develop, implement, and simulate virtual platforms to validate end-to-end solutions with real-life software
- Virtually ensure that products meet required specifications for quality, function, operation, reliability, maintenance, training & learning, deployment, process, and MHE integration, service, and support prior to delivery
- Identify and set appropriate quality standards and parameters for products
- Communicate quality standards and parameters to the product team, including hardware, software, controls, and materials development teams
- Coordinate simulations and testing processes
- Identify and analyze issues, bugs, defects, and other problems, particularly when problems recur in multiple products; recommend and facilitate solutions to these issues
- Connect with internal customers (Operations, RME, ACES, PE, OpsEng, WWDE, etc.), review client, customer, and user feedback
- Maintain compliance with federal, state, local, and organizational laws, regulations, guidelines, and policies
Essential Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree (BS)
- 5+ years proven experience working with large cross-functional engineering teams with modeling, simulation, testing, integration, and/or quality assurance domain expertise
- Proven experience in fulfillment systems with storage equipment, material handling systems, automated sortation systems, and related automation equipment
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to travel up to 70% to business locations and project sites
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience with complex automated material handling equipment, packaging technologies, and systems, including robotics, and high-speed manufacturing
- Strong communication skills to coordinate with team members, operations, and management
- Project managing skills to start projects and finish projects successfully
