Job Summary

We are excited to announce a fantastic opportunity for a part-time Remote Live Chat Agent to join our team. As a Live Chat Agent, you will be the first point of contact for customers seeking assistance through our live chat platform. You will handle a variety of inquiries, including ticket bookings, flight status updates, baggage concerns, and general customer service questions. Responsibilities

As a Remote Live Chat Agent, you will be responsible for:

  • Responding to customer inquiries promptly and professionally via live chat
  • Providing accurate information regarding flights, bookings, baggage policies, and other inquiries
  • Troubleshooting issues and providing effective solutions in a timely manner
  • Documenting customer interactions and updating records consistently
  • Escalating unresolved issues to the appropriate department when necessary
  • Maintaining a high level of product knowledge to ensure accurate information delivery
  • Meeting or exceeding performance metrics related to response times, customer satisfaction, and ticket resolution

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Excellent written communication skills
  • Proficient in basic computer skills and familiarity with remote communication tools
  • Ability to type at least 40 words per minute
  • Previous customer service experience preferred
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively

Essential Qualifications

* High School Diploma or equivalent required

  • Additional certifications in customer service or related fields are a plus
  • Previous experience in a customer service role is preferred but not mandatory

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience working in a fast-paced customer service environment

  • Familiarity with airline operations and policies
  • Strong knowledge of customer service principles and practices
