Cannabis Sales Representative (1099) - at least 2 years of Cannabis Sales Experience

Company: 818 Brands Position Type: 1099 Independent Contractor Compensation: Commission-only + Base Stipend (based on experience) Territory: Must have active book of cannabis retail accounts in both the applicable territory described in Job Posting, as well as throughout California. 818 Brands is a fast-scaling cannabis brand looking for a proven cannabis sales professional to help expand and maintain retail partnerships throughout California. If you’re already plugged into the cannabis retail network and can drive orders fast—we want to talk. What You’ll Be Doing: Sales & Account Management

• Use your existing network of cannabis retailers to grow 818 Brand’s (and additional Brands) presence across the state
• Maintain and grow existing account relationships
• Work with marketing and field reps to drive sell-through at the store level

Order Generation & Pipeline Building

• Actively generate orders weekly from key accounts
• Prospect and close new retail buyers in your territory, as well as throughout California
• Track your pipeline, report activity weekly, and follow up with buyers regularly

Collaborate With Brand Ambassadors

• Coordinate in-store activations, demos (PADs), and staff training with our internal Brand Ambassador team
• Provide feedback to the marketing team on store performance and buyer feedback

✅ What We’re Looking For:

• You MUST already have an active book of cannabis retail clients in California
• Minimum 2-3 years of cannabis sales experience
• Strong communication and follow-up skills
• Organized, self-motivated, and hungry to earn
• Comfortable working independently as a 1099 contractor
• Must have a car and ability to travel within your territory

Compensation:

• Commission-only model with uncapped earnings
• Monthly base stipend available based on experience and performance
• Opportunity to earn performance-based bonuses based on sell-through, reorder rate, and new account openings
