Role:Cloud Network Security Engineer-Remote
Role: Cloud Network Security Engineer (Public Cloud & NGFW) Location: Remote Experience: 10 + years Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Cloud Network Security Engineer with strong expertise in public cloud networking and next-generation firewall technologies. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in designing, implementing, and troubleshooting cloud-based network infrastructures along with strong knowledge of network security.
Key Responsibilities
Design, implement, and manage cloud networking architectures across platforms like Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform Deploy, configure, and support Next-Generation Firewalls (NGFW) (e.g., Palo Alto, Check Point, or cloud-native firewalls) Manage and troubleshoot application delivery controllers / load balancers (F5, Radware, or equivalents) Handle end-to-end network security operations, including implementation, upgrades, and troubleshooting Configure and troubleshoot cloud networking components, such as: Load balancers (L4/L7) Route tables Transit gateways / Virtual WAN Hybrid connectivity solutions Perform network troubleshooting across cloud and on-prem environments Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure secure and scalable cloud deployments Required Skills & Qualifications Strong experience in Public Cloud Networking (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform at least one mandatory) Hands-on experience with Next-Generation Firewalls (NGFW) Preferred: Palo Alto Acceptable: Check Point, Fortinet, or cloud-native firewalls Good understanding of network security principles Experience with load balancing and application delivery controllers (F5, Radware, or similar) MPLS basic knowledge is required along with Routing and Switching basics (L2/L3) Experience with network troubleshooting tools (ping, traceroute, etc.)
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with hybrid cloud networking architectures Exposure to SD-WAN Certifications such as: AWS / Azure Networking certifications Palo Alto / Network Security certifications Key Competencies Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills Ability to work across cloud and network security environments Understanding of network security best practices Ability to adapt to multi-vendor environments Priority Requirements (Must-Have Focus) Cloud Networking (Public Cloud) Mandatory Next-Generation Firewall Experience Mandatory MPLS + Routing & Switching Basics (L2/L3) .
