Job Summary

We're seeking an experienced Driver Onboarding Specialist/Data Entry Clerk to join our team. As a key member of our onboarding process, you'll play a vital role in ensuring that our delivery professionals are onboarded efficiently and effectively. This is a full-time position that offers the flexibility to work from home or our downtown San Diego office. Responsibilities

As a Driver Onboarding Specialist/Data Entry Clerk, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Reviewing applications, insurance documents, and vehicle registration documents for accuracy and eligibility
• Conducting virtual vehicle safety inspections with qualified driver-applicants (training provided)
• Communicating with delivery professionals via text, chat, and email about the status of their applications
• Ordering driver applicants' pre-employment background checks using company software
• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of driver applications and onboarding status
• Collaborating with other team members to ensure seamless onboarding process

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

• 2+ years of experience in a business environment, preferably in data entry, human resources, receptionist, administrative assistant, or customer service
• Associate's degree or above (preferred, but not required)
• 1-2 years of experience in recruiting/onboarding gig app workers or working in data entry, HR, or customer service (preferred, not required)
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
• Excellent communication skills and ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks
• Comfortable with smartphone applications and web-based applications
• Access to a quiet work environment, a smartphone, and a computer with reliable internet access

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience working with gig economy platforms or similar onboarding processes

• Familiarity with company software and systems
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think critically
• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range for this role is $25,000 to $35,000 annually, based on the candidate's skills, education, and experience. This role is also eligible for additional benefits, including:
