Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Full Stack Data Application Architect to join our IT Conveyance Center in Mexico City. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the end-to-end planning and execution of data applications, ensuring alignment with our engineering structure and rules. You will work closely with our Item Leads and Information Designers to plan new or further develop current data applications, providing direction and guidance to ensure successful project outcomes. How You'll Help Us

As a Full Stack Data Application Architect, you will:

  • Assume responsibility for the start-to-finish planning and execution process of data applications, ensuring alignment from data extraction to display based on the organization's rules and structures.
  • Act as a primary point of contact with other technology teams to collaborate on the extraction, transformation, and loading of data, ensuring seamless integration and optimal execution of data sources.
  • Define and authorize execution boundaries, balance, and sustainability of data applications, effectively monitoring and promoting the reuse of components.
  • Be responsible for creating and maintaining modern principles and rules for emerging technologies within our organization. Ensure that all applications are compliant with these guidelines throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Provide direct technical expertise and support to Data Application Teams, including Partners, Item Leads, Information Architects, and Information Experts, ensuring the team is equipped to meet business objectives.
  • Lead the development of Proof of Concepts for new challenges and provide detailed guidance on their execution, ensuring adherence to best practices and company principles.
  • Continuously review stage execution metrics to ensure effectiveness and productivity. Proactively address any issues and continuously seek opportunities for growth. Proactively identify risk factors in our data applications and attempt to mitigate potential issues early in the planning stage.
  • Effectively monitor technical accountability and lead redesign efforts to enhance system functionality and lifespan.
  • Provide training and mentorship to Information Designers, Information Experts, and Information Researchers, enabling them with the skills required to succeed in their roles and adhere to best practices in data management. Participate in information sharing meetings to elevate the technical skills of the team and cultivate a collaborative environment.
  • Hold accountability for the final expectations of the data design projects, ensuring they meet all practical and technical requirements specified by the stakeholders.
  • Collaborate closely with the security team to ensure data applications comply with corporate data security and protection principles.
  • Remain up-to-date with the latest trends in data technology to advance and recommend upgrades to our engineering continuously.

Capability and Necessities

* 5+ years' experience working with Data Application Development.

  • 3+ years' experience planning and executing Data Applications (Extractions, Reports, Dashboards).
  • Four-year degree in Software Engineering or related field.
  • Experience with Business Intelligence Data Perception tools like PowerBI, Tableau, Microstrategy, etc.
  • Experience with Azure Cloud Data Services and Design.
  • Strong knowledge of relational SQL databases and non-relational databases
  • Strong understanding of data modeling and design.
  • Knowledge of Extract, Transform, and Load (ETL) tools.
  • Knowledge of design and architecture across different Cloud Platforms (Azure, AWS, and GCP).
  • Effective Communication in English (Oral and Writing).
  • Knowledge of Scrum Procedures.
  • Preferred Capabilities and Experience:

+ Experience planning, designing, and developing Data Science and AI. + Experience using CI/CD tools - GitHub, GoCD, Terraform, and Azure DevOps. + Experience in programming languages used in Data Application Development. + Knowledge of Master Data Management (MDM). + Familiarity with Deft Scrum and DevOps best practices. + Experience working in a global, distributed team, with in-house and external delivery assets. + Working on one Spry lifecycle management tool like Jira or Azure DevOps.
