Key Responsibilities

As a Retention Specialist at arenaflex, you will be responsible for:

  • Answering customer questions and resolving issues related to product information, order statuses, tracking information, returns & exchanges, and more.
  • Working remotely and maintaining a distraction-free work environment to ensure exceptional customer experiences.
  • Engaging with customers over the phone, chat, email, and social media to provide best-in-class service experiences.
  • Managing multiple customer interactions channels efficiently and multi-tasking to find information while communicating with customers.
  • Proactively identifying solutions to anticipated customer questions and turning potentially negative experiences into positive interactions.
  • Maintaining metrics at or above expectations, including CSAT, customer retention, daily customer interactions, and response time.

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • An Associate degree or greater.
  • 2+ years of professional experience working with a computer and web-based tools.
  • 2+ years of experience working in customer service/support or a job where strong writing skills are required.
  • Grit and ability to overcome obstacles, with previous startup experience a plus.
  • Top-notch oral and written communication skills with outstanding attention to detail.
  • Open availability and ability to work weekends and key holidays.
  • Comfortable and familiar with working from home and being a self-starter.

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, we prefer candidates with:

  • Prior experience using Shopify, Zendesk, Gorgias, or other customer service software.
  • Experience working in a call center and/or remote environment.
  • Strong proficiency and willingness in handling customer support responsibilities over the phone.
