Job Summary

We're seeking an experienced IT Support Specialist to join our remote data entry and help desk operations team. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for providing exceptional support to our crewmembers, troubleshooting technical issues, and ensuring that our systems and applications are running smoothly. Key Responsibilities

* Provide top-notch support to our crewmembers, responding to their technical queries and resolving issues in a timely and efficient manner

  • Troubleshoot technical issues, identifying and resolving problems with our systems, applications, and equipment
  • Collaborate with our IT disciplines to ensure seamless integration and support
  • Develop and maintain documentation of technical issues, following arenaflex's standards and guidelines
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest technology trends and advancements, applying this knowledge to improve our systems and processes
  • Participate in the development and implementation of new technologies and applications
  • Work closely with our data innovation team to ensure that our systems and applications are running smoothly and efficiently
  • Collaborate with our crewmembers to identify and resolve technical issues, providing training and support as needed
  • Develop and maintain relationships with our crewmembers, vendors, and partners to ensure seamless communication and support

Essential Qualifications

* Secondary School Certificate or General Instruction Improvement (GED) Certificate

  • Experience supporting the latest operating systems, or successful completion of the IT for Everybody certificate via Coursera
  • Experience carrying out and supporting applications, including desktop and mobile devices
  • Ability to travel short distances (up to 50%) and possess a valid passport with the ability to travel throughout Jamaica and the US
  • Ability to obtain a valid visa to travel to the US
  • Experience using desktop software packages, including Microsoft Office and other productivity tools
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction and technical support

Preferred Qualifications

* Certifications in Microsoft, networking, and programming languages

  • Knowledge of Microsoft desktop and server products, including Windows and Office Suite
  • Knowledge of LAN climate using TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, and other network protocols
  • Knowledge of communication, messaging, and VoIP systems
  • Knowledge of mobile devices and MDM arrangements, including Workstation ONE and Microsoft Intune
  • Knowledge of general media arrangements and other technical systems

Crewmember Assumptions

* Regular attendance and punctuality

  • Ability to work flexible hours and be available to respond to technical issues without prior notice
  • Professional appearance while working or traveling on arenaflex flights
  • Willingness to participate in light cleaning of the aircraft while on duty
  • Ability to maintain a professional demeanor and adhere to arenaflex's culture and values
  • Commitment to arenaflex's #1 value of safety, supporting our Safety Management System (SMS) components, Safety Strategy, and social principles
  • Ability to identify and report safety or security concerns, issues, incidents, or hazards, using arenaflex's secret reporting frameworks (Avionics Safety Activity Program (ASAP), JEMS, or Security Activity Report (SAR))
