Key Responsibilities
• Provide exceptional service to every member interaction, building trust and creating sustainable relationships through open and interactive communication.
- Apply problem-solving and critical thinking skills to research and communicate solutions in a variety of situations.
- Effectively handle member concerns by utilizing available resources to provide accurate information and ensure empathetic resolution, while keeping records of all interactions and changes.
- Confidentially handle policy owner information and ensure compliance and communication standards are met.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure thorough and timely resolutions for all members.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, products, and services to provide informed and accurate information to members.
- Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance skills and knowledge.

Essential Qualifications
•
Minimum 2 years experience
in a customer service-related position, with a high value placed on the customer/member experience; insurance/call center experience preferred.
Basic mathematical aptitude
(addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division).
Technical aptitude
with experience navigating and operating multiple computer applications and telephone technologies desired.
Basic understanding and knowledge
of life insurance company operations, policies, and procedures, as well as knowledge of various insurance products preferred.
High School Diploma
required; some college-level coursework preferred.
- Internet requirements: minimum speed of 25MB download and 5MB upload, with the ability to support a VPN.
Preferred Qualifications
•
Completion of insurance industry or LOMA coursework
preferred.
Experience with CRM software
and other customer service tools.
Bilingual or multilingual skills
a plus.
