Job Responsibilities

As a Customer Service Representative – Telehealth Support Agent, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Receiving and processing calls from patients and their families
  • Gathering information from callers and relaying it to clinicians
  • Providing exceptional customer service and support to callers
  • Managing high call volumes and navigating challenging situations with professionalism and composure
  • Enhancing your customer care skills and knowledge through ongoing training and support

Key Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • Excellent verbal communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
  • Accurate keyboard and typing skills (minimum requirements)
  • Proficient use of Microsoft Office and internet navigation
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to speak with a smile in your voice
  • Evening, weekend shifts required (including holidays, paid at time ½)
  • Access to high-speed internet on a personal network (cannot be a shared network)
  • A personal, private, and patient-confidential workspace environment
  • A background check and federal work-eligibility check will be conducted as part of the interview process

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications are highly desirable:

  • Previous customer service experience in a call center or telehealth environment
  • Experience working with patients and families in a healthcare setting
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures
  • Certification in customer service or a related field
