Job Summary
We're seeking an experienced Loss Prevention Customer Service Associate II to join our team at arenaflex Store 0172 in Dallas, TX. As a Loss Prevention Customer Service Associate II, you'll play a critical role in maintaining a safe and secure shopping environment for our customers. You'll work closely with our District Loss Prevention Manager and Store Management to prevent potential loss and dishonesty, while also providing exceptional customer service and supporting our store teams.
Key Responsibilities
* Maintain a proper and professional stance in the designated area at the front of the store, acting as a visual deterrent to prevent potential loss/dishonesty
- Review and understand the Store Emergency Response Guide to ensure preparedness in critical situations
- Wear a complete arenaflex-approved uniform, including a Body Worn Camera, to enhance store security and customer safety
- Greet customers appropriately, demonstrating courtesy and respect, and respond to customer requests for assistance by referring them to store management or customer service via a Company-issued radio
- Establish and maintain a position at the front of the store or in a department, observing and reporting any suspicious behavior or critical incidents to LP or store management
- Perform a closing safety sweep of the store with a member of management to ensure a secure and safe environment
- Adhere to all arenaflex policies and procedures, documenting required incidents in AIIM Case Management
- Perform other duties as assigned by management
Essential Qualifications
* Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Sound decision-making skills, with the ability to take initiative and perform well independently
- Prioritizes/organizes workload and manages time effectively, with the ability to stand for long periods of time
- 0-2 years retail or security experience, with a strong understanding of loss prevention principles and practices
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience working in a fast-paced retail environment, with a focus on customer service and security
- Knowledge of loss prevention software and systems, including AIIM Case Management
- Certification in loss prevention or a related field, such as CPR or First Aid
Skills and Competencies
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers, management, and store teams
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and report suspicious behavior or critical incidents
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a focus on maintaining a positive and professional attitude
- Strong attention to detail, with the ability to maintain accurate records and reports
