As a Medicare Customer Service Representative, you will be responsible for handling a high volume of customer inquiries, resolving issues, and providing exceptional service to our clients' customers. Key Responsibilities:
* Handle customer inquiries, resolve issues, and provide exceptional service to our clients' customers
- Process claims, benefits, enrollment, member portal, ID cards, and other customer inquiries
- Work collaboratively with customers to resolve problems and provide solutions
- Utilize multiple systems to navigate and resolve customer issues
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of customer interactions
- Meet or exceed performance metrics and quality standards
- Participate in ongoing training and development to improve skills and knowledge
Essential Qualifications:
* 2+ years of customer service experience, preferably in a call center environment
- Excellent customer-focused competencies, including empathy, problem-solving skills, and strong communication skills
- Ability to navigate multiple systems and resolve customer issues
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to clearly communicate complex messages over the phone
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet performance metrics and quality standards
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred
Preferred Qualifications:
* 2+ years of experience in the healthcare industry, preferably in a customer service role
- Previous experience working with Medicare or other government programs
- Call center customer service experience, preferably in an inbound call environment
- Medical background or experience working in a healthcare setting
- Experience working in a remote environment or with a flexible schedule
