Job Summary

We're seeking an experienced Cloud Security Platform Engineer to join our team of experts in designing, implementing, and maintaining a robust cloud security posture. As a Cloud Security Platform Engineer, you'll work closely with our SOC teams and cloud specialists to develop and deploy cloud security solutions that meet the evolving needs of our clients. Your expertise in cloud security, incident response, and threat analysis will be essential in helping us stay ahead of emerging threats and ensure the security and integrity of our clients' data.

Key Responsibilities

* Collaborate with SOC teams and cloud specialists to design, implement, and maintain a robust cloud security posture

• Develop and automate cloud security monitoring and alerting to ensure timely detection and response to security incidents
• Create and refine functional playbooks for cloud security incident response automation and orchestration
• Coordinate and enhance cloud security tools within the SOC environment to streamline incident response workflows
• Lead the development of cloud security skills and training programs to improve threat detection, response, and overall security posture
• Participate in security incident response and work closely with colleagues to develop and maintain effective security best practices and procedures
• Stay up-to-date with emerging threats and technologies, and apply this knowledge to improve our cloud security posture and incident response capabilities

Essential Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field

• 6+ years of experience in cloud security, incident response, and threat analysis
• Experience working with cloud security platforms, such as Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Amazon Web Services (AWS)
• Strong understanding of cloud security standards, including NIST and CIS
• Experience with security information and event management (SIEM) systems, such as Splunk and ELK
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience with security orchestration, automation, and response (SOAR) tools, such as Phantom and Demisto

• Experience with cloud security tools, such as Cloud Security Gateway (CSG) and Cloud Access Security Broker (CASB)
• Experience with container security, including Docker and Kubernetes
• Experience with cloud-based incident response and threat hunting tools, such as Splunk and ELK
• Experience with cloud security compliance and governance, including HIPAA and PCI-DSS
• Experience with cloud-based security information and event management (SIEM) systems, such as Splunk and ELK

Skills and Competencies

* Strong understanding of cloud security concepts, including identity and access management, data encryption, and network security

• Experience with cloud security tools, including cloud security gateways, cloud access security brokers, and cloud-based SIEM systems
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
• Strong understanding of cloud security standards, including NIST and CIS
• Experience with cloud-based incident response and threat hunting tools, such as Splunk and ELK
• Experience with cloud security compliance and governance, including HIPAA and PCI-DSS
