Primary Duties & Responsibilities
As a Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for:
- Providing excellent customer service to policyholders and interested third parties via phone, email, and correspondence
- Processing policyholder requests in a timely and efficient manner
- Reviewing and maintaining new and revised procedures regarding policy information
- Maintaining department standards for number of calls, average handle, and time management
- Demonstrating strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Maintaining confidentiality and handling sensitive information with discretion
- Working collaboratively with internal teams to resolve customer issues and concerns
- Staying up-to-date with industry developments and regulatory changes
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
- A high school diploma or equivalent, with some college preferred
- At least one year of office experience, with telecommunications experience a plus
- A strong background in life and health insurance, with knowledge of insurance operations desired
- Excellent communication, both written and oral, and organization skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
- Strong decision-making skills with the ability to analyze situations and make logical conclusions
- Regular and predictable attendance required
Required Skills
To excel in this role, you'll need:
- Excellent customer service background and good phone skills
- Strong communication, both written and oral, and organization skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
- Excellent alpha and number recognition skills
- Demonstrated mathematical abilities
- Basic PC skills
- Ability to handle high-stress situations calmly and with tact and professionalism
- Strong decision-making skills with the ability to analyze situations and make logical conclusions
- Regular and predictable attendance required
- Ability to type at least 30WPM
- Pay differential available for Bilingual employees (Eng/Span)
Physical Requirements
As a remote work from home opportunity, you'll need to be able to:
- Work in a quiet and designated space with minimal distractions
- Use a computer and phone for extended periods of time
- Frequently reach above shoulder level

Required Knowledge & Experience

- Have a home office/room or quiet and designated space to work in as a remote worker
- Have a fire extinguisher in your home
- Have a smartphone and high-speed internet (20mbps upload) before starting
- Be able to work 40-hour workweek with regular and predictable attendance
