As a Remote Account Specialist, you'll be responsible for handling inbound and outbound calls, assisting customers with applications, information verification, and payment support. Key Responsibilities

As a Remote Account Specialist, you'll be responsible for:

  • Handling all correspondence with customers using confidence, courtesy, and professionalism to support the department's vision of a customer-centric call center
  • Effectively communicating Terms and Conditions and the value of our product
  • Assisting customers with filling out applications via telephone
  • Answering customer questions regarding applications and customer accounts
  • Verifying accuracy of all information provided on online applications
  • Taking payments via telephone and providing payment assistance options when available
  • Submitting applications and relaying results to the customer
  • Understanding the need to escalate customer calls when appropriate
  • Maintaining a database on new and existing customers
  • Meeting quality and productivity goals
  • Other duties as assigned

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • A High School Diploma or GED
  • 1 to 3 months of related experience and/or training
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet productivity goals
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Proficiency in using computer software and technology

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications would be beneficial:

  • Previous experience in a call center or customer service environment
  • Knowledge of our products and services
  • Experience with database management and data entry
  • Certification in customer service or a related field

Requirements for Remote Work

To work from home as a Remote Account Specialist, you'll need:

  • To reside in Oklahoma, Kansas, or Missouri
  • Internet service with a wired connection to router, minimum download speed of 10Mbps (satellite-based ISP's are not compatible)
  • A quiet, office-like workspace, free of distractions
  • To work afternoons, evenings, and weekends as scheduled
