Senior Tax Associate (Fully Remote)
Position Overview One of the top mid-sized CPA companies in the area serving C-Corp, S-Corp, Partnership, high net worth individuals and businesses within industries that include real estate, construction, entertainment, technology, healthcare/medical sectors and more. This is a fully remote position with growth opportunity.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and prepare C-Corp, S-Corp, partnership and individual tax compliance.
- Develop and deliver tax planning techniques for clients while addressing their needs.
- Interact with the clients advisors
- Tax research, analysis and written memorandum.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of tax preparation for S-Corps, C-Corps, Partnerships and Individuals
- Understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting required; Master's of Tax degree preferred
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and the Internet
- Ability to manage own time and the time of others
- Ability to motivate, develop and direct people as they work
- Capacity to demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Understanding of how to apply principles of logical thinking to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
- Ability to demonstrate strong organizational skills and attention to detail
