Role Description Mountain Homes Lending is a growing mortgage brokerage focused on providing a smooth, high-touch experience for homebuyers and real estate partners. We are looking for a reliable, detail-oriented Loan Officer Assistant to help manage our pipeline and free up the Loan Officer to focus on bringing in new business. This is a part-time role for a Loan Processor / Loan Officer Assistant (LOA) preferably located in the Buena Vista, Salida, Fairplay or Leadville area. The Loan Processor / LOA will handle day-to-day tasks including reviewing loan documents, coordinating with clients and lenders, supporting the underwriting process, and ensuring accurate and timely loan processing. The role requires maintaining clear communication with all parties involved while adhering to compliance and regulatory standards.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in reviewing and managing loan documents and understanding loan products
- Knowledge of loan processing and underwriting workflows
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with clients and team members effectively
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management capabilities
- Familiarity with mortgage software systems and processes is a plus
- Prior experience in the financial or mortgage sector is preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional certifications in finance or related fields are advantageous
