Fully Remote Digital Marketing Specialist (Social Media) Location: 100% Remote Schedule: Full-Time | 40 hours/week | Flexible schedule

Overview

Our client, a leader in a highly regulated industry, is seeking a Digital Marketing Specialist to provide day-to-day social media support. This role is fully remote and ideal for someone who is self-directed, dependable, and comfortable working independently in a flexible environment. The manager is looking for hands-on support across both paid and organic social media, following recent team changes. The ideal candidate will bring prior experience from a similar regulated industry and be confident managing social media operations end to end.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and execute organic and paid social media campaigns
  • Monitor, engage, and respond on social channels approximately 3 times per day, across a 7-day week
  • Support content planning, publishing, and performance tracking
  • Use Meta Business Suite to manage posting, ads, analytics, and reporting
  • Ensure all content and engagement aligns with regulatory and compliance requirements
  • Partner closely with the hiring manager, providing proactive and consistent daily support
  • Analyze performance metrics and provide insights to optimize content and campaigns

Required Qualifications (Must Haves)

  • Strong understanding of both organic and paid social media management
  • Hands-on experience with Meta Business Suite
  • Experience working within a regulated environment (e.g., life sciences, biotech, pharma, healthcare, or similar industries)
  • Ability to work independently with minimal oversight
  • High level of flexibility and reliability given the schedule
  • Content portfolio required at submission, including:
  • Social media content examples
  • Performance analytics or reporting samples

Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Cambridge, MA. Pay And Benefits The pay range for this position is $38.00 - $51.00/hr.
