Job Responsibilities Scheduling Navigators play a critical role in helping students take important actions before and after their advising appointment. This individual will work with all Schools of Study and work with the Academic and Career Advisors and front desk support team to help the students book appointments, register for courses, modify their registrations, update their programs of study, connect with essential college supports, support Mandatory New Student In-Person Program Orientation, and more. This position will support students in person on campus, via Zoom, and email. Thorough documentation and regular reporting of both outreach and outcomes are essential. This position may work non-traditional hours and requires a great deal of flexibility, on-the-spot thinking, and understanding of the College at large. Travel between campuses is required. Minimum and Additional Requirements Bachelor's degree in a related field plus one (1) year relevant program experience; or associate's degree in a related field plus three (3) years work experience in a customer service setting or a high school diploma plus five (5) years work experience in a customer service setting.
Preferred Qualifications
Prior experience in a higher education setting, especially in a student services area. Prior experience with advising technologies, a CRM, or other customer/student support documentation platforms. Must be dependable, prompt, flexible, articulate, well-organized, and able to exercise sound judgement. Some evening and/or weekend work at other campuses is required. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook, Word, and Excel, is required.
