This is an excellent opportunity for a highly motivated and self-directed individual to join a stable and reputable manufacturing company specializing in engineered mechanical components. Candidates must have experience in machine setup and will be responsible for testing machines onsite.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate lathes, mills, and other machinery.
• Read and interpret blueprints and G&M codes for machine setup.
• Use calipers and micrometers to ensure precision in machining.
• Perform inspections and quality checks on finished components.
• Program CNC machines using Mastercam.
• Work with Haas, Fanuc, Mazak, and Okuma machinery.

• Proficiency in lathe and mill operations.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Experience with G&M codes and CNC machine programming.
• Knowledge of machining and mechanical components.
• Skilled in using calipers and micrometers for precision measurement.

• Experience with Mastercam programming.
• Knowledge of CNC machining processes.
• Familiarity with various machinery brands such as Haas, Fanuc, Mazak, and Okuma.

Work Environment

Work in a fast-paced and hands-on environment where your skills are put to the test daily. The facility has been operational for over 70 years, specializing in solutions for severe service lubrication. Expect a gritty setting where getting your hands dirty is part of the job, especially during hot summer days. Be prepared to work roughly an additional 2 hours per day and half days on Saturdays.

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Ossining, NY.

The pay range for this position is $41600.00 - $62400.00/yr.
