Responsibilities:

As an Online Chat Representative, you'll be responsible for:

  • Providing exceptional customer service through online chat platforms, responding to customer inquiries, and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Expressing genuine empathy and concern for customers' issues, addressing them as if they were your own, and providing personalized solutions.
  • Evaluating and prioritizing customer requests, identifying high-risk situations, and escalating them to management when necessary.
  • Maintaining accurate records of customer interactions, including chat details and required information, in our ticketing system.
  • Responding to and resolving open issues in a timely manner, ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Identifying trends related to systems, platforms, and customers, and escalating them to management for further action.
  • Multi-tasking using multiple systems, including our CRM and ticketing software, to provide seamless customer experiences.
  • Maintaining punctuality and attendance at all scheduled times, ensuring that our customers receive the highest level of service.

Requirements:

To be successful as an Online Chat Representative, you'll need:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Strong written communication skills, with the ability to convey information clearly and professionally.
  • An empathetic approach to client interactions, with a genuine desire to assist and resolve issues.
  • The ability to handle multiple conversations simultaneously, while maintaining high service standards.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects.
  • Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.

Preferred Qualifications:

* Previous experience in customer service or a related field.

  • Knowledge of insurance products and services.
  • Experience working in a remote or virtual environment.
  • Certification in customer service or a related field.
