Opportunity
We're seeking enthusiastic and motivated individuals to join our team as Temporary Data Entry Clerks. No prior experience is required – just a willingness to learn and contribute! This role offers potential for future assignments, providing flexibility and possible long-term opportunities. As a Data Entry Clerk, you'll collaborate with our internal data management team to ensure accurate and efficient data entry.
Schedule
We offer flexible scheduling to accommodate your availability, with the following schedule:
- Fridays (once a month)
- Saturdays (2-3 times a month)
- Times to be determined (subject to change)
Location
This position is based at our headquarters in Palmetto, FL (not remote). We're proud to be a part of the local community and look forward to welcoming you to our team.
Responsibilities
As a Temporary Data Entry Clerk, you'll be responsible for:
- Transferring data from paper formats collected during events into our database using a laptop and mouse
- Accurately interpreting and inputting handwritten information into our database
- Verifying the accuracy of data by cross-referencing with source documents
- Updating and maintaining existing data records
- Organizing and filing paperwork after data entry to ensure nothing is misplaced
- Assisting with other tasks as needed
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with office equipment
- Ability to type quickly and accurately (40-45 words per minute with 80-90% accuracy)
- Keen attention to detail is a must
- Basic understanding of databases
- Good command of English, both spoken and written
- Strong customer service skills
- Previous data entry experience is a plus but not required
