Key Responsibilities

As a Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for:

• Providing exceptional customer service through phone, email, and correspondence, ensuring that policyholders and stakeholders receive accurate and timely information about their policies and claims.
• Processing policyholder requests, including claims payments, policy information, and other inquiries, in a timely and efficient manner.
• Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of policy information, procedures, and regulations, and ensuring that department standards are met for call volume, average handle time, and time management.
• Collaborating with internal teams to resolve complex issues and provide seamless support to our clients.
• Demonstrating a strong commitment to confidentiality, maintaining the trust and confidence of our policyholders and stakeholders.
• Utilizing excellent communication, both written and oral, and organization skills to effectively manage multiple tasks and priorities.
• Possessing strong decision-making skills, with the ability to analyze situations and make logical conclusions, ensuring that our clients receive the best possible support.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

• A high school diploma or equivalent, with some college education preferred.
• At least one year of office experience, with telecommunications experience a plus.
• A strong background in life and health insurance, with knowledge of insurance operations desired.
• Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to handle high-stress situations calmly and professionally.
• Strong communication, both written and oral, and organization skills.
• The ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
• Basic PC skills, including typing at least 30WPM.
• Reliable and predictable attendance, with the ability to work a full-time or part-time schedule based on the specific position.

Physical Requirements

As a remote worker, you'll need to be able to:

• Work in a quiet and designated space, with minimal distractions.
• Utilize a company-provided workstation and high-speed internet (20mbps upload).
• Possess a smartphone and a fire extinguisher in your home.
• Meet the physical demands of heavy phone and PC usage, sitting for extended periods, and frequently reaching above shoulder level.
