Job Summary
We're looking for a highly skilled Data Engineer to join our Advertising Information Systems team. As a Data Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining our advertising information systems, ensuring that they are scalable, secure, and meet the evolving needs of our business. You will work closely with our Data Scientists, Data Analysts, and Software Engineers to develop data pipelines, data models, and data visualizations that inform our advertising strategies.
Responsibilities
* Design and develop data pipelines to collect, process, and analyze advertising data from various sources
- Collaborate with Data Scientists and Data Analysts to develop data models and data visualizations that inform our advertising strategies
- Work with our Software Engineers to develop and maintain our advertising information systems, ensuring that they are scalable, secure, and meet the evolving needs of our business
- Develop and maintain data quality and data governance processes to ensure that our advertising data is accurate, complete, and consistent
- Collaborate with our Data Researchers and Data Scientists to develop and maintain data pipelines and data models that support our advertising research and analysis needs
- Develop and maintain data visualizations and reports to communicate insights and recommendations to our stakeholders
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies, and apply this knowledge to improve our advertising information systems
Requirements
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field
- 3+ years of experience in data engineering, data science, or a related field
- Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, Java, or C++
- Experience with data warehousing, data modeling, and data visualization tools such as Hadoop, Hive, Pig, and Tableau
- Experience with big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, and NoSQL databases
- Strong understanding of data governance, data quality, and data security principles
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data problems and develop effective solutions
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience with cloud-based data platforms such as AWS or GCP
- Experience with data streaming technologies such as Apache Kafka or Apache Flink
- Experience with machine learning and artificial intelligence technologies such as TensorFlow or PyTorch
- Experience with data visualization tools such as D3.js or Matplotlib
- Experience with agile development methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban
