Job Responsibilities:

As a Pharmacy Customer Service Associate at arenaflex, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing exceptional customer service to patients and customers, responding to their inquiries, and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Processing transactions, including registering sales, collecting cash, and dispensing change as needed.
  • Maintaining accurate records, including patient and medication data, and processing voids, returns, and exchanges.
  • Assisting pharmacists with tasks, such as entering patient and medication data, filling prescriptions, and checking for potential interactions.
  • Reporting prescription errors to pharmacists and adhering to organization policies and procedures.
  • Handling calls and responding to customer inquiries, including those from doctors and other healthcare professionals.
  • Processing manual claims for external program prescription services and performing other administrative tasks as assigned.
  • Assisting with stock management, including ordering, unloading, checking, and storing shipments of medications.
  • Maintaining knowledge of organization resource security methods and recording claims for distribution center overages, deficiencies, and request errors.
  • Ensuring compliance with state and local regulations regarding controlled substances.
  • Building and maintaining displays, including promotional, seasonal, and special displays, and resetting and correcting as assigned.
  • Assisting with the division of food items, including raw and pre-cooked foods, and item positioning as determined by strategies and methods.
  • Providing customer support in the photo area, including digital identification photo services, banner print, and creative machine services.
  • Taking on web pick-up responsibilities, including screening orders in Picture Care, handling requests, and delivering orders to customers as they arrive at the store.
  • Assisting with outside and inside maintenance by ensuring a clean, neat, and well-organized store environment and appearance.
  • Adhering to all organization policies and procedures and maintaining respectful relationships with colleagues.

Essential Qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.

  • Proficiency in reading, writing, and communicating in English (except in Puerto Rico).
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekend hours.
  • Basic computer skills and knowledge of store systems and hardware.

Preferred Qualifications:

* Six months of experience in a retail environment.

  • Previous work experience with arenaflex.
  • Strong numerical skills to accurately fill prescriptions, including counting, measuring, and weighing medications.
  • Proficiency in PC skills.
  • Knowledge of store stock control.
  • PTCB certification.
