Job Summary

We're seeking experienced Pharmacy Customer Service Representatives to join our remote team at arenaflex. As a Pharmacy Customer Service Representative, you'll be responsible for handling inbound and outbound calls, resolving member and provider issues, and providing empathetic customer service. Key Responsibilities

As a Pharmacy Customer Service Representative, you'll be responsible for:

  • Answering questions and handling problems regarding pharmacy benefits, providers, or claim issues
  • Handling inbound calls and making outbound calls to follow up with members, providers, and pharmacies as necessary
  • Spending approximately 90% of your time on the phones, providing empathetic customer service to our members and customers
  • Seeking approval for overrides and prior authorizations as needed and entering them into the claims system
  • Monitoring pharmacy claims processing and completing data entry of member records
  • Other duties or special projects may be assigned as necessary

Schedule and Work Environment

* Shift Range: 9AM to 5PM, 12:30PM to 8:30PM, 1PM to 9PM | Monday to Friday

  • Shifts are consistently assigned based on business needs.
  • Must be open to rotating Saturdays (9AM to 1PM)
  • Work from home (WFH) with equipment provided by arenaflex

Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • 1+ years of experience in the pharmaceutical healthcare industry
  • A pharmacy technician certification is highly preferred (inactive also applies)
  • 1+ year(s) of PBM or health benefits experience
  • Experience in working in a high-volume call center is highly preferred
  • High school diploma or equivalent

As a Pharmacy Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, you'll enjoy:

  • Competitive hourly rate: $18.50/hr. - $19.50/hr. BOE [$1/hr. Shift Differential for Overnight Shifts]
  • Must be a Certified Pharmacy Technician to be eligible for the $19.50/hr. range
