Key Responsibilities:

As an Experienced Customs Trade Coordinator – Remote Data Entry Position, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing exceptional customer service to clients and internal stakeholders
  • Ensuring accurate and timely customs clearance and trade compliance for shipments
  • Processing and managing import and export documentation, including customs forms, invoices, and certificates of origin
  • Maintaining accurate records and reports, including shipment documentation and customs compliance data
  • Collaborating with internal teams, clients, and government agencies to resolve customs-related issues and ensure compliance
  • Processing and managing financial transactions, including payment and refund processing
  • Staying up-to-date with changes in customs regulations and trade policies
  • Performing other duties as assigned by management

Essential Qualifications:

* Bachelor's Degree in a related field (e.g., international business, logistics, supply chain management)

  • Minimum 6 months of work experience in customs trade or a related field (preferably in a data entry or administrative role)
  • High School Diploma or equivalent (HS Certificate or GED)
  • Proficiency in MS Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to handle high volumes of work and meet deadlines

Preferred Qualifications:

* Experience with customs trade software and systems (e.g., FedEx Trade Networks, UPS TradeAbility)

  • Knowledge of international trade regulations and customs procedures
  • Familiarity with export and import documentation, including commercial invoices and certificates of origin
  • Experience working with government agencies and customs brokers
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
