Key Responsibilities

As an Automotive Online Chat Specialist, your primary objective will be to represent our dealer clients favorably online, convert interactions into leads, and drive revenue growth from website traffic. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Handling a wide variety of customer inquiries via online chat, providing accurate information about products and services, and scheduling appointments by narrowing down on relevant information.
  • Developing and maintaining a comprehensive knowledge base of evolving products and services, staying up-to-date with the latest automotive trends and technologies.
  • Capturing customer contact information for lead generation and client review, summarizing interactions based on customer needs for client review.
  • Collaborating with our dealer clients to understand their needs, preferences, and goals, and providing tailored solutions to meet their objectives.
  • Participating in ongoing training and professional development to enhance your skills, knowledge, and expertise in the automotive industry.

Essential Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • Previous experience in retail customer service or the automotive industry (although not necessary, it's a plus).
  • The ability to type at least 35 WPM (40 and above preferred).
  • Proficiency in basic internet and Windows-based computer skills.
  • Strong multitasking abilities, with gaming experience being a helpful asset.
  • A positive and professional demeanor, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • The ability to adapt to change in a fast-paced work environment.

Requirements

To excel in this role, you'll need:

  • Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • A pleasant, patient, and friendly attitude, with a strong focus on delivering exceptional customer experiences.
  • Strong decision-making and analytical skills, with the ability to analyze customer needs and preferences.
  • Fluency in English, both spoken and written.
  • Fast typing skills (minimum 35 WPM).
  • The ability to pass a background check.
  • A High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent certification.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in an office setting, customer interaction, call center, or office customer service environment.
