Job Summary
As a Warehouse Customer Service Representative, you'll be responsible for responding to customer inquiries, processing orders for shipment, selecting carriers, and interacting with CSR teams and LTL carriers. You'll also be expected to follow up on daily shipments, perform miscellaneous clerical tasks, and provide exceptional customer service. Key Responsibilities
* Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, or in-person, providing timely and accurate information to resolve issues and meet customer needs
- Process orders for shipment, ensuring accurate and efficient handling of customer requests
- Select carriers and call consignees for appointments, ensuring timely and reliable delivery of goods
- Interact with CSR teams and LTL carriers to resolve issues, answer questions, and provide updates on shipment status
- Follow up on daily shipments to ensure timely delivery and resolve any issues that may arise
- Perform miscellaneous clerical tasks, such as data entry, filing, and record-keeping, as needed
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of customer interactions, shipments, and issues
Essential Qualifications
* High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred
- 1-2 years of experience in a customer service or warehouse environment, with a focus on logistics or supply chain management
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with customers, CSR teams, and LTL carriers
- Good computer skills, with experience using software applications such as Microsoft Office and CRM systems
- Excellent attention to detail, with the ability to provide accurate and timely information to customers
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on meeting customer needs and resolving issues
- Ability to work overtime and Saturdays as required, with flexibility to adapt to changing work schedules
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience working in a warehouse or logistics environment, with knowledge of shipping and receiving procedures
- Familiarity with CRM software and other logistics-related systems
- Certification in customer service or logistics, such as the Certified Customer Service Representative (CCSR) or the Certified Logistics, Transportation and Distribution (CLTD) designation
- Bilingual or multilingual skills, with the ability to communicate with customers in multiple languages
