Job Summary:
We're seeking an experienced Chat Moderator to join our remote team on a part-time basis. As a Chat Moderator, you'll be responsible for maintaining a positive and respectful environment on our Discord server, enforcing community guidelines, and providing exceptional customer service to our users. Key Responsibilities:
* Moderate the chat of our official Discord server, ensuring that all users adhere to our community guidelines and rules
- Delete messages that violate our community guidelines and rules
- Ban users who have multiple and repeat violations of our community guidelines and rules
- Mute users who have violated our community guidelines and rules
- Investigate reports made by users about violations of our community guidelines and rules
- Collaborate with our team to develop and implement community engagement strategies
- Provide exceptional customer service to our users, responding to their queries and concerns in a timely and professional manner
- Stay up-to-date with our community guidelines and rules, making recommendations for improvements and updates as needed
Essential Qualifications:
* Must be 18 years of age or older
- Must have a High School Diploma or GED
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team
- Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
- Familiarity with Discord and community management tools
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Preferred Qualifications:
* Experience in community management or moderation
- Knowledge of community guidelines and rules development
- Familiarity with social media platforms and online communities
- Experience working with diverse groups and individuals
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
