Our Advertising Information Designing team sits at the heart of building an information ecosystem that informs and drives our advertising business.
Job Summary
We're looking for a highly skilled and motivated Data Engineer to join our Advertising Information Designing team. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining rich, associated, and easily accessible information about advertising inventories, targeting, and more. Your work will have a significant impact on our business, influencing advertising strategies, and driving revenue growth.
Responsibilities
* Design and implement data pipelines to collect, process, and store advertising data from various sources
- Collaborate with Data Researchers, Data Analysts, and AI Experts to build data models that serve business needs
- Develop and maintain data warehouses, data lakes, and data pipelines using Hadoop, Hive, Pig, and other big data technologies
- Work with cross-functional teams to integrate data from various sources, including application APIs
- Develop and maintain data quality metrics and ensure data accuracy and integrity
- Collaborate with Data Architects to design and implement data governance policies and procedures
- Foster a culture of innovation and experimentation, encouraging data-driven decision-making and continuous improvement
Requirements
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field
- 3+ years of experience in data engineering, data science, or a related field
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or Scala
- Experience with big data technologies such as Hadoop, Hive, Pig, and Spark
- Strong understanding of data modeling, data warehousing, and data governance
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work with cross-functional teams
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data issues and develop creative solutions
- Experience with data quality metrics and data integrity
- Strong understanding of data security and compliance regulations, including GDPR
Preferred Qualifications
* Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in data engineering, data science, or a related field
- Experience with cloud-based data platforms, such as AWS or GCP
- Strong understanding of machine learning and AI concepts
- Experience with data visualization tools, such as Tableau or Power BI
- Strong understanding of data governance policies and procedures
