Key Responsibilities

As a Ramp Agent, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Safely lifting, loading, unloading, and transporting baggage, mail, and cargo to and from aircraft, while ensuring timely connections by guiding incoming and departing aircraft from the gate positions.
• Safeguarding cargo, baggage, and mail from damage, loss, and weather conditions.
• Safely driving and operating ground equipment such as tugs, belt loaders, and tow tractors in areas of congestion.
• Operating baggage scanners and computers to ensure accurate routing of baggage to the customer's destination.
• Maintaining a safe and secure working environment, adhering to all operational procedures and protocols.

Work Environment and Schedule

As a Ramp Agent, you will work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment that requires flexibility and adaptability. Shifts will range from early morning to overnight, with varying schedules based on operational needs. You will work between 20 and 40 hours per week, depending on your seniority and the needs of the team.

Minimum Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you must:

• Possess a high school diploma, GED, or high school equivalency.
• Be at least 18 years of age and have authorization to work in the United States.
• Have a valid driver's license.
• Proficiency in English.
• Pass a physical ability test (PAT). You can prepare for the PAT by watching this video.
• Must wear required company-approved Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to include, but not limited to: hearing protection, safety-toe footwear, protective headwear (bump cap or hard hat), and high visibility safety apparel subject to an approved accommodation, such as alternate PPE.
