Key Responsibilities

As a Data Entry Specialist at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for:

  • Data Entry: Accurately inputting alphabetic and numeric information into databases and software programs, including uploading data from external sources or transcribing audio and video content.
  • Document Review: Carefully reading and interpreting source documents such as sales reports, bills, or canceled checks, and entering the required data into designated fields.
  • Accuracy Checks: Compiling, sorting, and verifying the accuracy of various data types, including demographic, financial, and customer information, before entering it into the system.
  • Error Detection: Comparing entered data with source documents using verification tools to detect and correct errors, and reporting discrepancies to supervisors when necessary.
  • Record Maintenance: Maintaining operational records and logs to ensure all data and activities are documented and accessible.
  • Confidentiality: Safeguarding data accuracy, integrity, and confidentiality while maintaining customer confidence and protecting sensitive information.
  • Priority Setting: Establishing data entry priorities by adhering to organizational guidelines or consulting with team leadership.
  • Verification: Reviewing, correcting, deleting, recovering, or reentering customer and account data as necessary to maintain accuracy and integrity.
  • Data Management: Purging files to remove duplicate information, securing data by completing regular database backups, and contributing ideas for improving data collection processes.
  • Team Support: Operating office equipment as needed to assist in data entry tasks and contributing to team goals by accomplishing related results as required.
