Job Summary

As a Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for handling incoming phone calls from patients, attorneys, guarantors, and other stakeholders. Your primary goal will be to provide timely and accurate assistance, addressing their questions, concerns, and needs. You'll also be responsible for processing payments, setting up payment plans, collecting updated or missing insurance information, and explaining insurance denials. Off the phone, you'll perform tasks such as processing mail returns, locating and attaching notes/authorizations to claims, and mailing invoices.

Key Responsibilities

* Answer incoming phone calls from patients, attorneys, guarantors, and other stakeholders

  • Provide timely and accurate assistance, addressing their questions, concerns, and needs
  • Process payments, set up payment plans, and collect updated or missing insurance information
  • Explain insurance denials and provide clear, concise information to callers
  • Perform off-the-phone tasks, including processing mail returns, locating and attaching notes/authorizations to claims, and mailing invoices
  • Maintain accurate records and update patient information as needed
  • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve complex issues and ensure seamless customer experiences

Essential Qualifications

* High School Diploma or GED

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and manage time effectively
  • Proficient typing and computer skills
  • Positive team player with a strong work ethic
  • Ability to adapt quickly to change and learn new skills
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications

* Previous customer service experience in a medical billing or healthcare setting

  • Experience with medical billing software and systems
  • Strong knowledge of medical billing procedures and regulations
  • Certification in medical billing or a related field (e.g., CPC, CMC)
