Responsibilities

As a Part-Time Customer Service Specialist, you'll be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our current clients and new prospects. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Processing customer policy change requests in a timely and efficient manner
  • Securing all trailing documents from customers and maintaining accurate records
  • Completing evidence of insurance requests and ensuring seamless communication with clients
  • Documenting each customer contact in eAgent, our cutting-edge customer relationship management system
  • Taking premium payments from customers and verifying phone numbers, addresses, and email addresses
  • Returning all phone messages promptly and maintaining a high level of responsiveness
  • Maintaining knowledge of new products and services, and staying up-to-date on industry developments
  • Providing exceptional customer service, resolving issues, and exceeding client expectations

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you'll need to possess the following essential qualifications:

  • Must reside/live in California: We're only considering candidates who are based in California, so please don't apply if you're not a resident.
  • Genuine willingness to learn: You'll need to be eager to learn and develop your skills, with a willingness to take on new challenges and responsibilities.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills: You'll need to be able to communicate effectively with customers, colleagues, and other stakeholders, with a strong focus on building relationships and resolving issues.

  • Insurance industry experience: If you have a background in the insurance industry, you'll have a head start in understanding our products and services.
  • Bilingual: If you're fluent in multiple languages, you'll be able to communicate more effectively with our diverse customer base.
