Key Responsibilities

As a Data Entry Clerk, you'll be responsible for:

  • Receiving and processing requests for technical assistance from customers
  • Opening and submitting tickets into arenaflex's ticketing system for Help Desk technicians to review
  • Reviewing each open ticket to track the outcome and ensure timely closure
  • Emailing responses to customers to provide exceptional customer service and keep them informed about the status of their requests
  • Maintaining accurate records and ensuring data integrity in our ticketing system

Essential Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • Previous experience in I.T. Help Desk ticketing or online customer service for a technology company or busy online retailer (not required but highly desirable)
  • Excellent typing skills (at least 40 wpm) and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities

Preferred Qualifications

While not essential, the following qualifications will make you a strong candidate:

  • Experience with ticketing systems and Help Desk software
  • Knowledge of ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library) principles and best practices
  • Familiarity with arenaflex's products and services (not required but a plus)
  • Certification in customer service or technical support (e.g., CompTIA A+ or ITIL Foundation)
