Job Description

We are seeking an experienced entry-level data entry clerk to join our remote team. As a data entry clerk, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our company's databases. Responsibilities

  • Accurate Data Entry: You will be responsible for accurately inputting, verifying, and maintaining data in our company databases. This will involve ensuring that all data entries are accurate, up-to-date, and compliant with our data management policies.
  • Data Management: You will be responsible for managing and organizing electronic documents and files, ensuring that they are easily accessible and retrievable when needed.
  • Backup and Recovery: You will be responsible for performing regular backups to ensure data preservation and minimize the risk of data loss.
  • Administrative Support: You will provide administrative support to our team members and supervisors, including responding to emails, making phone calls, and performing other tasks as needed.
  • Communication: You will communicate effectively with team members and supervisors, providing regular updates on your progress and any issues that may arise.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • Education: A high school diploma or equivalent is required. Additional certification or coursework in data entry or related fields is a plus but not required.
  • Experience: Previous data entry experience is a plus but not required. We are looking for individuals with a strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Technical Skills: You will need to be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and have a reliable internet connection and a dedicated home workspace.
  • Soft Skills: You will need to possess excellent communication and time management skills, with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
