Job Summary

We're seeking an experienced and customer-focused individual to join our part-time Customer Support team as a Remote Customer Support Representative. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our passengers, handling customer inquiries, and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner. Key Responsibilities

* Provide friendly and courteous service to all internal and external customers, ensuring a positive experience for our passengers.

  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve our organization's goals and objectives.
  • Respond to customer inquiries and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner, ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Handle all aspects of check-in and baggage handling, including working with our modernized retail location system, boarding, baggage claims, and resolving related complaints and issues.
  • Process payments, handle cash, checks, credit cards, travel vouchers, and coupons, and balance daily transactions.
  • Investigate and resolve customer complaints and issues, including oversells, delayed or cancelled flights, lost, delayed, or damaged baggage.
  • Provide accurate and up-to-date information on fares, schedules, reservations, and flight status to customers and other airport guests.
  • Complete forms and reports as required by the organization.
  • Write incident and complaint reports as needed.
  • Perform other work duties as assigned by supervisors.

Essential Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., customer service, hospitality, business administration).

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers and colleagues.
  • Ability to type and use a computer keyboard with sufficient speed to meet the needs of the job.
  • Ability to understand and follow policies, procedures, and guidelines, including tagging methodology, rules, and regulations.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, meet deadlines, and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Ability to work under close time constraints to achieve quick turnaround of flights.
  • Ability to provide a well-groomed appearance, adhering to the Ground Tasks Worker Handbook and Work Schedule.
  • Ability to perform all job duties within a limited space.
  • Ability to communicate verbally by phone, in person, and on public address systems.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to communicate information and guidelines verbally or through radio equipment.

* Previous experience in customer service, hospitality, or a related field.

  • Knowledge of airline operations and procedures.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and contribute to a positive and supportive team culture.
  • Ability to adapt to changing situations and priorities.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
