Our Customer Service Agent role is an exciting opportunity to join our team and make a meaningful impact on people's lives. As a Customer Service Agent, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our clients, answering their questions, and resolving their issues in a timely and professional manner.

Key Responsibilities

* Make outbound calls to confirm/schedule/reschedule participant's appointment with a Benefit Advisor

  • Answer inbound phone calls pertaining to the status of an application or general customer inquiries
  • Respond to instant live chat requests from customers
  • Assist customers with website navigation and self-service options
  • Provide accurate and timely information to customers regarding their benefits and services
  • Document all conversations and actions taken on each interaction

Requirements

* High school degree or equivalent

  • 1+ years customer service experience in a call center environment preferred
  • Knowledge of Medicare health, prescription drug plan, vision, and dental enrollments preferred
  • Strong written and verbal communication and rapport building skills
  • Experience and general comfort level using Microsoft Word, Excel, computer telephony, internet, and computer tools

* Ability to talk and efficiently type simultaneously

  • Ability to multitask across multi-functional work
  • On-camera visibility during any meetings, trainings, or per leadership request
  • Takes initiative and demonstrates strong problem-solving skills
  • Proven success in maintaining a calm and professional demeanor in a fast-paced business environment; able to deescalate
  • Aptitude for understanding details of insurance or complex information
  • Actively listening to participants to understand both verbal and non-verbal cues
  • Researching options in proprietary arenaflex tools
  • Demonstrating sustained confidence and resilience during challenging interactions
  • Fully and accurately documenting all conversations and actions taken on each interaction

Preferred Qualifications

* Previous experience in a customer service role, preferably in the insurance industry

  • Knowledge of Medicare and other health insurance programs
  • Experience with customer relationship management (CRM) software
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines

Work Environment

* Dedicated quiet home office/workspace is needed with stable internet connection

  • A home-based system test will be required to ensure speed and quality match arenaflex requirements (currently minimum speed is 100 Mbps)
  • Cost for internet and/or phone services and equipment will not be reimbursable
  • arenaflex will provide a laptop, additional monitor, keyboard, mouse, and headset
