Responsibilities
As a Customer Service Agent, you will be responsible for the following key tasks:
- Trip Assignment and Coordination: Assign trips to dispatchers in the Health-E Rides system, ensuring that approximately 700-900 trips are completed each night. You will also build dispatchers' daily schedules, taking into account breaks and lunches.
- Language and Cultural Considerations: Determine which dispatchers are eligible for certain trips based on the language spoken by the member, ensuring that our patients receive the best possible service.
- Care Partner Management: Stack trips to contracted Care Partners, ensuring that our patients receive the highest level of care.
- Customer Service: Answer inbound calls from members during evening hours, providing exceptional customer service and resolving any issues that may arise.
- Administrative Tasks: Assist with Care Partner-related administrative tasks, such as payment processing, and Level 1 administrative tickets in Zendesk.
- Coordination and Communication: Coordinate evening trips as they come in, ensuring that our patients receive timely and efficient transportation.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following qualifications and skills:
- Previous Experience: Previous experience in dispatching and coordinating transportation is essential for this role.
- Healthcare Experience: Healthcare experience is preferred, but not required.
- Reliability and Flexibility: Consistently reliable and able to work evening shifts, Monday through Friday, from 11:30 PM to 8:00 AM PT.
- Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, dispatchers, and Care Partners.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in using software applications, such as Health-E Rides and Zendesk.
- Problem-Solving and Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and resolve issues efficiently.
