Job Summary

We're seeking an experienced Data Entry Specialist to join our remote team, responsible for accurately and efficiently entering data into our system database. As a key member of our team, you'll play a critical role in maintaining the integrity and accuracy of our data, while also providing exceptional support to our clients and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

As a Data Entry Specialist at arenaflex, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Gathering, organizing, and preparing source documents for data entry into the appropriate system database
  • Reviewing data for discrepancies, missing pages, or information, and resolving discrepancies using standard procedures or returning incomplete documents to the team leader for resolution
  • Entering both alphabetic and numeric data from source documents into the proper system database
  • Reviewing data entered against the original source documents for accuracy and correcting any data entry errors or duplications
  • Following data program security practices and procedures at all times
  • Routinely securing information by completing database backup daily
  • Performing other various clerical duties, such as sorting, filing, emailing, and proofreading, as required
  • Maintaining confidentiality of all personal and financial information at all times and in accordance with HIPPA regulations
  • Performing other duties as assigned by the team leader or management

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you'll need to possess the following qualifications:

  • Education and/or Experience: High school diploma or equivalent required; a minimum of 6 months related experience; or equivalent combination of training and experience
  • Experience in a Medical Office: Preferred but not required
  • Tech-Savviness and Attention to Detail: MUST be tech-savvy and detail-oriented, with a strong ability to focus and maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment
  • Computer Skills: Must possess complete knowledge of general computer, fax, copier, scanner, and telephone; must be knowledgeable of multiple software programs, including but not limited to Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, and the Internet
  • Typing Speed and Accuracy: Must be a qualified typist with a minimum of 40 W.P.M.
  • Communication and Teamwork: Demonstrates exceptional communication skills by conveying necessary information accurately, listening effectively, and asking questions where clarification is needed; must be able to maintain confidentiality and demonstrate a positive team-oriented environment
