About the Role

We're seeking an experienced Data Protection & Privacy Analyst to join our team in a remote data entry opportunity. As a Data Protection & Privacy Analyst, you will play a critical role in ensuring the security and integrity of arenaflex's data assets. You will be responsible for analyzing and mitigating risks, developing and implementing data protection policies and procedures, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

* Analyze and mitigate risks associated with data protection and privacy

  • Develop and implement data protection policies and procedures
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Conduct regular audits and assessments to identify areas for improvement
  • Provide training and guidance to employees on data protection and privacy best practices
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in data protection and privacy
  • Develop and maintain relationships with external stakeholders, including vendors and partners
  • Participate in incident response and crisis management efforts

Essential Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field

  • 3+ years of experience in a STEM-associated field, with a focus on data protection and privacy
  • Understanding of data protection and privacy requirements and policies, both locally and globally
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with all levels of management
  • Ability to work in a dynamic environment with strict deadlines and multiple priorities
  • Must be legally eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship
  • Reliable and punctual attendance is a critical aspect of this role

Preferred Qualifications

* CISA certification

  • Knowledge of computer networking principles and protocols, and network security
  • Knowledge of security engineering and architecture principles
  • Knowledge of cryptography and cryptographic key control principles
  • Experience with data protection and privacy vendors, tools, and products
  • Ability to interpret noncompliance and determine its impact on risk and/or overall effectiveness of the organization's cybersecurity program
