Job Summary
We're seeking an experienced Data Scientist to join our team, responsible for producing high-quality, actionable insights from complex data sets. As a key member of our Clinical Research team, you'll work closely with cross-functional stakeholders to design and execute data-driven research studies, leveraging advanced analytics and machine learning techniques to drive business growth and improve patient care.
Key Responsibilities
* Mine and analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and correlations that inform business decisions
- Collaborate with clinical research colleagues to design and execute data-driven research studies, leveraging advanced analytics and machine learning techniques
- Develop and maintain data pipelines, ensuring high-quality, standardized data for analysis and reporting
- Design and implement data visualizations, dashboards, and reports to communicate insights to stakeholders
- Conduct statistical analysis and modeling to identify areas of improvement and optimize business processes
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in data science and clinical research
Essential Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field (e.g., mathematics, statistics, computer science, engineering)
- 3+ years of experience in data science, analytics, or a related field
- Proven track record of designing and executing data-driven research studies, leveraging advanced analytics and machine learning techniques
- Experience working with large datasets, including data mining, statistical analysis, and data visualization
- Strong understanding of data modeling, machine learning, and statistical techniques, including regression, classification, clustering, and time series analysis
- Experience with data visualization tools, such as Tableau, Power BI, or D3.js
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional stakeholders
Preferred Qualifications
* Master's or Ph.D. in a quantitative field (e.g., mathematics, statistics, computer science, engineering)
- Experience working with electronic health records (EHRs), health IT systems, and clinical data standards
- Familiarity with clinical research regulations, including GCP, ISO, and MDD/MDR
- Experience with exploratory data analysis, Bayesian modeling, and computational statistics
- Strong understanding of machine learning techniques, including deep learning and natural language processing
- Experience with programming languages, such as Python, R, or SQL
