Remote Inbound Customer Service Representative – Power Industry Expertise

Responsibilities:

As a Remote Inbound Customer Service Representative, you'll be responsible for handling a high volume of calls from customers on behalf of our client, a prominent power company. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing customer service support and resolving issues related to power outages, payments, and service
  • Offering additional products and services to customers, such as surge protection, home wiring, and water heater repairs
  • Upselling and cross-selling opportunities to increase revenue and customer satisfaction
  • Managing multiple screens and entering data while engaging in conversation with customers
  • Meeting program goals around phone time, customer experience, sales, and other key performance indicators

Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • Prior recent experience working as an inbound customer service agent for at least one year, with a verifiable track record of success
  • Experience with upselling and cross-selling, with a proven ability to share goals and results with our interview team
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with a focus on professionalism and empathy
  • Technical savvy, with the ability to easily learn and navigate multiple screens and enter data while engaging in conversation with customers
  • Time management skills, with the ability to work remotely and meet various program goals
  • Solid organizational skills and attention to detail, with a focus on accuracy and efficiency

Eligibility:

To be eligible for this role, you must:

  • Be able to pass a background check and drug test
  • Have a dedicated office space that meets our requirements, as verified through our interview process
  • Be available to work a set schedule, Monday to Friday, 7:00am to 7:00pm Eastern Time
