Job Summary

We're seeking an experienced Data Entry Specialist to join our remote team in San Antonio, TX. As a Data Entry Specialist, you'll be responsible for processing incoming healthcare claim forms, capturing and validating complex data, and utilizing various systems to work on assigned tasks. Responsibilities

As a Data Entry Specialist, you'll be responsible for:

• Capturing and validating more complex data, including image classification and indexing
• Pre-adjudicating documents and correcting data as required
• Verifying data from automated data extraction tools
• Utilizing various systems to work on assigned tasks
• Completing assignments using multiple source documents to verify data or use additional information to do the work
• Working within established procedures and practices
• Working under close supervision

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

• To be at least 18 years of age or older
• A high school diploma or general education degree (GED)
• Proficient computer skills, including MS Office and internet research
• Ability to type at least 45+ WPM with high accuracy
• 10-key by touch proficiency
• Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines while performing functions with high accuracy rate
• Maintain or exceed 4,000 ksph for numeric, and 2,500 ksph alpha/numeric with less than 1% error rate
• Basic knowledge of medical claims form processing preferred
• Experience working through VPN connection
• Eligibility to work in the United States
• Ability to clear any necessary criminal background checks or drug screenings
