At the end of the day, TURN is all about helping you express your own style, your own way. about the job: (If you are from USA or Europe, please aply otherwise skip it) We’re looking for a Knitwear based Head of Fashion Designer, menswear is core design to lead the creative direction and oversee the full design process across multiple categories. You’ll develop seasonal concepts, research trends, manage samples and fittings, and collaborate with overseas teams to ensure flawless execution. This role blends creativity and strategy you’ll guide the brand aesthetic while meeting commercial goals, mentor other designers, and ensure all products meet our quality and safety standards. - Own the design process from concept to creation across key brand categories and drops.
- Research seasonal trends and present compelling design direction.
- Review samples, attend fittings and update tech packs, sketches, and BOMs as needed based on changes.
- Collaborate and communicate with overseas teams to ensure timely updates and alignment.
- Lead and mentor other designers, fostering a culture of growth and excellence.
- Collaborate with overseas suppliers and travel for development and production.
- Ensure compliance with children’s safety standards and technical specifications.
- Plan future ranges and support recruitment for the design team.
- Manage deadlines and workflow effectively to deliver design projects on time and to brief.
- Design across multiple product categories, including knit, woven and accessories.
Qualifications and Skills:
- 8-10+ years’ experience in fashion design with fashion brand.
- A degree in a fashion or design-related field.
- Deep technical knowledge of garment construction, fabric development, washes and finishing
- Strong ability to balance creativity with commercial awareness and margin goals.
- Experience mentoring and leading design teams.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, trend-driven environment.
- Efficient in full Adobe Suite (illustrator and Photoshop are a must).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to work collaboratively with others.
