Jr Frontend Developer
Role Overview A Junior Frontend Engineer is responsible for building user-facing web applications, ensuring responsive design, and delivering seamless user experiences. The role involves collaborating with designers, backend developers, and product teams to develop high-quality, scalable interfaces.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain responsive web applications using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Build reusable UI components for scalable frontend architecture
- Translate UI/UX design wireframes into high-quality code
- Ensure cross-browser compatibility and mobile responsiveness
- Collaborate with backend developers to integrate APIs and services
- Optimize applications for maximum speed and performance
- Debug and troubleshoot frontend issues and bugs
- Use version control systems like Git for code management
- Follow best practices for clean code, accessibility, and security
- Participate in code reviews and team discussions
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript (ES6+)
- Basic experience with frontend frameworks like React.js, Angular, or Vue.js
- Understanding of responsive design and CSS frameworks (Bootstrap/Tailwind)
- Familiarity with REST APIs and JSON
- Knowledge of version control tools like Git
- Basic understanding of browser developer tools
- Good problem-solving and debugging skills
Preferred Skills
- Experience with React.js or similar modern frameworks
